TARIS Wellpoints are designed for use in wellpoint dewatering systems where groundwater needs to be collected before it enters an excavation, trench, foundation area or other active work zone.

TARIS supplies 2 inch wellpoints in 6 metre and 7 metre lengths, providing contractors with practical options for different installation depths and project layouts.

For projects across Oman, Bahrain and the UAE, TARIS can support wellpoints together with header pipes, dewatering pumps, hoses, couplings, fittings and other groundwater-control accessories.

Built for Continuous Dewatering Solutions

  • 2 Inch × 6 Metre Wellpoints
  • 2 Inch × 7 Metre Wellpoints

The 2 inch × 6 metre wellpoint is suited to a wide range of temporary groundwater-control applications.

Its length provides flexibility for construction sites where wellpoints need to be installed around excavation boundaries, trenches or foundation areas. For larger systems, multiple wellpoints can be arranged along a common header line according to the project design.

The 2 inch × 7 metre wellpoint provides an additional metre of installation length for projects where deeper placement is required.

It can be considered for suitable groundwater-control applications where site level, excavation depth or groundwater conditions require a longer wellpoint. Final suitability should always be determined by the actual dewatering design and site conditions.

Groundwater Control Starts at the Wellpoint

In a wellpoint dewatering system, multiple wellpoints are installed around or alongside the area that needs to remain dry. These wellpoints collect groundwater and connect into the header line, allowing the dewatering pump to continuously remove water from the system. For contractors working on excavations, foundations, utility trenches or pipeline projects, the correct wellpoint arrangement can help maintain a more workable and controlled site environment.

Wellpoints FAQ

The choice depends on groundwater level, excavation depth and required installation depth. A 7 metre wellpoint may be preferred where additional depth is needed, while 6 metre units can suit many standard temporary dewatering layouts.

The quantity depends on the excavation length, groundwater conditions, soil characteristics, required drawdown and wellpoint spacing. A project layout should be reviewed before deciding the final quantity.

Wellpoints can be arranged for different site geometries, including trenches, foundations and excavation perimeters, provided the system design matches the groundwater conditions and project requirement.

In a conventional wellpoint system, individual wellpoints are normally connected to a common header line that leads to the dewatering pump. The header therefore forms an important part of the complete system.

Yes. TARIS can support wellpoints together with header pipes, dewatering pumps, hoses, couplings, fittings and other suitable accessories based on the project requirement.
